Mark Weil

 is the Founder and Artistic Director of the «Ilkhom»Theater and The «Ilkhom»Theater School of Drama.
Simultaneously with play in Tashkent, he has worked as a director in Moscow (Russia), USA, Bulgaria and Yugoslavia. Many of his performances, such as «Petty Bourgeois Wedding» (Bertolt Brecht), «Clomadeus», «Happy Beggars» by Carlo Gozzi, were presented at many international festivals in Austria, Holland, Yugoslavia, Ireland, Norway, Germany, USA and many others.
He is also the author of many TV films. A documentary film «The End of an Era. Tashkent» was shown at international festivals in Holland, Germany, France and Switzerland.
His latest productions include: «The Suicide» by Nikolay Erdman (University of Washington, Seattle), «ART» by Yasmina Reza («Ilkhom»Theater, Uzbekistan), «Bataille de dames» by Eugène Scribe (Mossovet Theater, Moscow, Russia), «Chekhov LAB» by Anton Chekhov, and «Zoo Stories» by Edward Albee («Ilkhom»Theater, Uzbekistan).

Boris Gafurov

Has graduated from the Acting Department of the Tashkent Theater Artistic Institute in 1993, the Mark Weil’s workshop.
A leading artist of the Theater.
Starting from September 2007, Boris is an acting Artistic Director and a Head of the Creative Council of the Theater.

Igor Ratanov

 was invited to «Ilkhom» in 1989.
He is the first official manager-director, who participated in reorganization of the «Ilkhom» Theater-studio into a professional theater company with an appropriate juridical status.

Vasiliy Yuriev

is the main painter of the «Ilkhom» Theater. He graduated from Tashkent theater-artistic Institute and had a probation at Professor Eduard Kochergin’s, in the Saint-Petersburg Theater Academy (Russia). He is a stage designer and a creator of more than 40 productions in different theaters of Tashkent and CIS.

Among the last productions in «Ilkhom»: commedia dell’arte «Happy Beggars» by Carlo Gozzi, the musical «Tortilla Flat» by John Steinbeck, «Babylon Hotel» – the joint project of the «Ilkhom» Theater and Shapiro&Smith Dance Company, USA, «Taibele and her Demon» by Isaac Zinger, «Romance Unleashed» and «Imitations of Koran» by Alexandr Pushkin, «Ubu Rex» by Alfred Jarry, «Love Labor’s Lost» by William Shakespeare, «ART» by Yasmina Reza.

Artem Kim

 is the head of the musical department of the theater.
He graduated from the National Conservatory of Uzbekistan (Dmitriy Yanov-Yanovskiy’s class).
His debut as a composer took place in «Ilkhom». He is an author of the music for: «Giselle» by Olga Mikhailova, «Salomea» by Oscar Wilde, «Ubu Rex» by Alfred Jarry, «Imitations of Koran» by Alexandr Pushkin, «ART» by Yasmina Reza, «Triptych by Harms», vocal cycles to «Christmas evenings» from poems by Yuriy Levitanskiy, Boris Pasternak, and many others in Tashkent; «Twelve Night» by William Shakespeare and «Bataille de dames» by Eugène Scribe at the «Mossovet» Theater in Moscow.
He is also an author of a number of symphonic and chamber works performed at international festivals of contemporary music in Uzbekistan, Holland, Canada, Italy and others.
During all his study in the Conservatoire he became an active participant of the International Festival of Contemporary Music «Ilkhom XX».
Many of his works were played for the first time at the Festival. The beginning of Artem Kim’s conducting career is connected with the Festival «Ilkhom XX». In 2001 a premier of «Requiem» by Alfred Schnittke took place in Uzbekistan under conduct of Artem Kim. Also, under the conduct of Artem Kim the premier of «The Wedding» by Igor Stravinsky and «Catulli Carmina» by Karl Orf took place within the frame of the Festival, in Uzbekistan.
He is the founder and director of the «Omnibus» Chamber Ensemble.

Oksana Khripun

is the head of the theater literary department.
She is also a specialist in drama study and a theater critic. Oksana is graduated from the St. Petersburg Theater Academy.
She has been working in the theater since 1996. She is an author of articles in mass media and in the book «The Unknown Infamous Ilkhom».

Maxim Tumenev

 is an Assistant to the Artistic Director of the troupe and international relations, as well as an actor of the Ilkhom Theater.

Irina Bharat

 graduated from Tashkent State University. She is a psychologist. She has been working in the theater as a deputy of the commercial director on fundraising since 2005. She is experienced in work with foreign trade brands.
