A photo-report from the 1st presentation of The Ilkhom Prize 2007

There are first photos of the event, which has taken place on March 27, 2007, at 10 p. m., in the Ilkhom Theater.

This year The Ilkhom Prize 2007 was conducted as a touchstone among projects and actors of the Ilkhom Theater. Next year, 2008, during the International Day of the Theater, The Ilkhom Prize will overstep bounds of the Ilkhom and will be awarded in nominations of different innovation searched in the art of Uzbekistan.

The Ilkhom Prize positions itself as a prize for searches of new and unbeaten tracts in the art as well as a prize called upon to support modern artistic achievements in theater, music, cinema, and fine art and, also, as a special prize to journalists for high professional coverage of cultural events in the mass media.

Annually a format of nominees’ selection and ways of voting will be changing and improving. Nevertheless, a format of the mass poll of the audience, who will have the right to choose themselves and name the Prize winners, will remain the same.

During seven weeks we have been making an opinion poll among the audience of the theater in the Ilkhom and on its site. As a result, 781 people became members of the Grand Jury. The winners of the 1st Ilkhom Prize 2007 became…

The winner in the nomination «The Best Work of the Ilkhom Actors in the Mass Media, TV and Cinema» became Alena Lustina, Announcer at «Markaz-TV», Markaz TV.

The winner in the nomination «The Best Debut of the Year» became Said Khudaibergenov for Makhzum in «White, White, Black Stork», Kalandar in «Flights of Mashrab», Makhmud in «The Ecstasy with the Pomegranate» and Arkadiy in «OBLOM-off».

The winner in the nomination «The Best Actress of the Year» became Olga Volodina, the Honored Actress of Uzbekistan, for «B» in «Zoo Stories», Popova in «Chekhov LAB».
The winner in the nomination «The Best Actor of the Year» became Boris Gafurov for Colonel Byaltsev in «The Ecstasy with the Pomegranate», Pipe in «The Ruler» during the Days of the Contemporary German Theater in Uzbekistan.
The winner in the nomination «The Best Project of the Year» became «The Ecstasy with the Pomegranate» production and the project-exhibition «The Ecstasy of Usto Mumin in the Ilkhom».
