«Till period Usto Mumin we do not know works; it is known only, that he has been strongly infected by a suprematism. However, having arrived to Turkestan, the artist at once and for ever changes «a paradigm»: the place of abstract geometry borrows «the green world». Such metamorphosis is not so characteristic for artists of the Central Asian avant guarde: the same of Wolves, having returned to Central Asia from Petersburg, still long time was under visible effect of the receptions borrowed in Russian and western painting.
